AND LicensePool allows the Customer to pool licenses thereby benefiting from the “concurrent user” feature. Concurrent users are those who are simultaneously working with AND application licenses, e.g. AND FibreCo.
Deploying AND LicensePool means the Customer only needs to purchase licenses depending on the maximum number required during peak periods. This number can be increased to match any growth in demand.
The concurrent environment is controlled by the LicensePool, whereby the maximum number of concurrent users depends on the actual total amount of AND application licenses in the license pool.
The user remains a concurrent user until he/she quits the AND application therefore allowing a further user to avail of the license.
Important to note is that AND LicensePool allows the AND software to be installed on any number of works stations. The Customer only requires a single hardlock which is installed on the server running the LicensePool environment.
The AND LicensePool is mandatory in terminal server environments, e.g. Citrix.
